Thank You
Marfield Readers!
Thank you to all the Marfield Prize Readers.
Since 2006, for fourteen years, bestowing more than $150,000 worth of prizes, with a total of almost a thousand submitted entries, the Marfield Prize has honored books that tell the stories about architecture, dance, music, sculptors and poets, authors, paintings and most recently the burning of a public library.
This year, more than sixty books were submitted to the Marfield Prize competition (2019) and it would have been impossible to select the wonderful five finalists without your reviews. The Marfield Prize, compared to other literary Prizes in the United States, is unique by having numerous Arts Club members and their friends participate by reading and providing insights on all the entries.
Again, thank you very much and I hope to see you on May 29 for a Zoom online gathering to celebrate the winner of the 14th Marfield Prize 2019.
